Cashier and
Customer Service Rep
The Cozy Corner Market is hiring one part-time person to open and close the shop and run the register, on alternating Mondays and every Saturday.
$11 to $13 an hour, depending on experience. About 36 hours a month. Alternating Mondays 9 AM – 4 PM. Every Saturday 9 AM – 2 PM. (Scheduling is open for discussion.)
What you would be doing
- Opening and closing the shop, and managing the register
- Ringing up sales on a laptop register with a card reader
- Talking to customers, and knowing the makers well enough to point someone at the right shelf
- Sweeping and mopping the floors and keeping the room tidy
What we are looking for
- 18 or older. You will carry a key and handle the cash.
- Available alternating Mondays 9 AM – 4 PM and every Saturday 9 AM – 2 PM.
- Comfortable enough with a laptop and a card reader to run checkout on your own.
- Great communication and customer service skills. You will be the face of the shop.
